The Family History Discussion Group meets on the First Tuesday of the month at 1.00pm.

If you are starting out on you Family History journey, this could be the perfect start! Linda will help you with your genealogy, as well as setting up your family tree, and you will learn how to use online resources.

An informal group facilitated by one of AMCS’s Dementia Care & Support Coordinators. Come along and enjoy a free cuppa and a free light brunch. Connect with other carers and bring your loved ones with you.

Leopold Community & Learning Centre is making space available for document signing by an Honorary Justice of the Peace.
This is a free service staffed by local volunteer Greg Burgess JP.

Pen and Wash Workshop – With Pat McKenzie

Pat has won many awards for her work over the years and obtained many commissions for portraits,

landscapes and seascapes. Many of her paintings are now hanging in private collections both in Australia and internationally.

 

You will be taught some of the techniques used to create a lively pen & wash painting which combines a line drawing (usually with waterproof ink) and loose expressive watercolour washes.

Class is suitable for all standards.

 

When: Saturday 23rd August 10.00am to 3.00pm
